Day Thirteen
Mia arrived to floor five of the brownstone, the last floor. She was ready to end this Story. She found Ryder in a barn of horses. Before she knew it she was riding a white stallion called “Steadfast”. She is heading towards an unknown blue door but only the horse knows where. Because she was willing to go to find her father, she went.
How often does God call us to go with Him? How often do we hedge and want to know more details? “the story of WITH: A Better Way to Live, Love & Create” by Allen Arnold tells us,
God longs for those who will come alongside Him and experience the active, unpredictable, intimate joy of riding together. Doing so requires us to stay close. Sometimes He’ll ride by our side. Other times, He leads the charge. And occasionally He falls back a bit just to see if we notice. It’s how a good father trains children to ride.
The Lord loves to send me on a journey I wasn’t planning. Right now He has me on a journey training to be a driving instructor in high schools and in cars. I have no idea why He is sending me this way, I only know He wants me to go. Later this year I will celebrate twenty-five years of walking with the Lord. In that time He has been faithful and steadfast about being with me where ever He sends me. So I know with full assurance this next journey will enrich me and others. On this trek the glory of God will be seen.
