Overflow with Hope

Day Eighteen

It is God’s intention for us to be filled with hope. With Him we live our life filled to the brim, overflowing in His hope, no matter what our life circumstances are. “A Heart Prepared: Savor the Story of Christmas Advent Legacy Journal” shows me what this looks like. After the shepherds heard about the Messiah they left right away to see this hope they had in the Messiah.

When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.” So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child. (Luke 2:15-17)

This Christmas and into the New Year I am filled with so much hope about God’s will in my life. He overfills me with peace and hope that family will come to know Him as their Lord, provision, protection, and direction in which way I should go for Him. No matter how depressing life can be with Him I am entombed in His love, peace, and hope.
