Today I hiked my second Trail Ambassador hike of the year with Corky. As a Trail Ambassador of the Cleveland Metro Parks, we hike the trails as representatives of the park system. We look for trail hazards, greet people, answer questions, provide first aid, and are the ears and eyes for the Cleveland Metro Parks police. It is a fun volunteer position that enables us to hike when and which ever park we desire. Today Corky and I hiked 3.81 miles in the South Chagrin Reservation and interacted with many runners, walkers and hikers. I was a tad over dressed even with two layers. The sunny 55 degrees felt warmer than the thermometer said. I love the hilly elevation changes in this park.
