Teijuania and I went on a memory lane walk for 3.75 miles in Big Creek Reservation. She and I years ago used to walk five to eight miles a week in one day regularly. We were in the parks and in the malls when the weather was bad. Our pace was swift. My grandson rode in his stroller with us for several years on those walks. Our walk today was a stroll. We laughed and talked about those crazy days when we were obsessed with getting in the miles in the fastest way we could even though our bodies cried out for help. Help to stop! What a difference time with God makes. He redirected how we walk. Walking now is a time for fellowship with a friend as we enable our bodies to stay healthy without tearing too many muscles.
