Day Thirteen
Once again “A Heart Prepared: Savor the Story of Christmas Advent Legacy Journal” reminds us that 700 years before Christ was born He was prophesied about and named. What a long wait people had for Jesus to appear.
For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)
My parents gave me a middle name. I know why they gave me my first name but not the middle name. My name is Antoinette. According to what I have read in various sources it has French and Latin origins and means praiseworthy and priceless one. I wonder if my parents knew that when they named me. What is really cool is I know that I am a priceless one because God said I am. We are all priceless to Him simply because He created and loves us unconditionally.
