Astorhurst Park used to be a golf course. Now it is part of the Cleveland Metro Parks. Evidence of the former course is every where, golf holes with the number, the pathway to the holes, and a cart elevator. There is an upper and lower level in the park the upper level is accessible by two long hills up on either end of the park. Those inclines are great cardio workouts for the walker/hiker. For our Sunday date Dan and I hiked 2.41 miles in the park. We plan to return to hike the trails we were unable to do today. This is an ever changing park as nature takes back what once was theirs and man is helping out. I love hiking this park to observe the changes as the golf course fades.
