Day 28
The Holy Spirit gave me some major encouragement today. Polly and I walked in the South Chagrin Reservation. We walked 6.12 miles on a hilly all purpose trail (APT). We have used to this park and others to train for hilly races. The last time I walked this section of the APT was in May 2020 a week before being admitted to the hospital for pneumonia with an oxygen level of 70. Then I could hardly breathe and had unusual leg cramps. Walking or hiking on hills is my favorite thing to do. So, to not be able to do it last year was disappointing. Today I praised God while I walked up and down the hills effortlessly. I felt like my old self again if not better because I could smell the outdoor environment as we passed by. Thanks to changed schedules this walk happened right when I needed it.
