Where are those cones?

Website Number Five was born today!

As a driver education instructor we practice maneuverability with cones. All of our cars have cones in the trunk to use in any parking lot. However, when a student needs to practice with their parents they must go to parking lots where cones are available for public use.

Finding those locations can be a task for the student. A Google search will not help them. There is nothing out there that helps parents and students find those cones. Generally for the first lesson, I have the student drive to one of these locations, so, they can practice on their own. However, sometimes the closest location is not close enough and I use the nearest parking lot with the cones in the car I am using.

For at least a year the Holy Spirit has prompted me to create a website that helps students and parents find cones in their area. I didn’t answer the first call. However, earlier this year while I was going through various health issues I relented and with God’s help start this website. It is now published for those in the areas that I work in. I can be anywhere in six counties with students: Summit, Portage, Geauga, Lake, Medina, and Cuyahoga. The page currently addresses those counties and one for Lorain county.

However, God wants this page for the entire state of Ohio with 88 counties. That means this website has now reached the point of being an impossible task for me to do alone. But God wants it. He will somehow enable the information from various sources to come my way to include the counties I am unable to drive to. May you be a part of making this website grow by sending me the information that needs to be added to the site or sending this article or the link to the website to people who can provide new parking lot sources.

I am looking forward to seeing what God is going to do with this website. I am only the person who gave it birth through His prompting. It is always important to do all for God’s glory, live on His schedule, and pray Big!

  1. The format for the webpage looks great. You are making progress on meeting the needs of people. Sounds like Christian work to me.
