It is March and much has happened and yet not happened since I wrote In Waiting. Much of this waiting period I have spoke weekly on Monday Emissions From The Heart. Some of the devotionals have also been written on this.
So let me update you. The stomach mass is a tumor. It is not cancerous, yet it is not not cancer. What crazy double talk from my doctors. In any case, I was scheduled to have the tumor along with a part of my stomach that it is attached to removed to make sure all the cells from the tumor is gone. The surgery date was supposed to be tomorrow, March 31st. The doctor’s plan is this is the fix with no need for chemo pills.
The doctors are amazed this was found so early. They say it is so tiny, yet to my daughter and I it looks huge compared to the size of my stomach. Supposedly, this is slow growing and is usually found when it is full blown cancer and has already invaded the stomach and other organs. My tumor is attached to the outside of my stomach, hanging out there giving me no discomfort. God helped them to find it through a 10-day bout of unrelated diarrhea through a CT-Scan.
As of today, no surgery tomorrow due to my eosinophilic asthmatic lung situation. The date has been pushed back to June in order to get my lungs more stable for surgery. So, now I wait for that to happen during the next couple of months. Amazingly, my lungs are feeling better already.
While this is going on I am still writing in my devotionals every week. The travel articles will happen when the trips happen. I kinda forgot to write here because I have been speaking on the weekly Monday Emissions From The Heart. Also God, has me on another mission in regards to a fifth website that I will speak on later when it opens. It’s a website unrelated to anything I have ever done, but is big. So big, that I can only rely on God to help me complete the task. But I know how He has set me on projects that I couldn’t possibly do and yet He does it!
Thanks to Him I can deal with all this and do all for God’s glory, live on His schedule, and pray Big.
