Hope for Heidi

I was in Lancaster, PA and had just finished reading a book on the bus ride in. I needed another book to read. God gave me “Hope for Heidi” by Rachel Lofgren from the Shady Maple Gift shop.

While still on vacation I jumped into the book immediately and haven’t been able to put it down since last week. This book of a young girl’s faith, endurance, and reliance on God during an unexpected change in her ability to move was convicting, heart warming, tear jerking, and encouraging. It put a smile on my face when she traveled to places I had been and how much fun she and I had with family despite the dramas in life.

Juel A. Fitzgerald has a degree in English and is a Toastmaster trained public speaker, loves to travel, walk long distances with friends, and is a driving instructor for teens. She writes in four blogs and is the author of “Lives of a Gem! God’s Treasured Possession”, “Bible Trek: Reading the Bible in Thirteen Weeks”, and “The Twelve: Fishers of Men”.
