My husband knows I love anything written by Stephen King. Every Christmas he buys me his latest book. This year he purchased a book that is a spin off of one of characters from Stephen’s trilogy. I had not read the first book. I looked in my stack of waiting-to-be-read Stephen King books and “Mr. Mercedes” was not there but the third one was. Instead of buying the book I grabbed a copy from the library. With a three week due date I blazed through this book about a man who intentionally mowed the life out of a crowd of people with a Mercedes. This mystery kept my heart racing from cover to cover. Now I am ready to pick up the second book in the trilogy from the library.
