Every Christmas for over a decade my husband has given my granddaughter the latest edition of “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” by Jeff Kinney. Last year I read a few pages of the fifteenth edition “The Deep End”. I found it so good I told my granddaughter I wanted to read them all. This year my seven-year-old grandson, her brother, started the first of this series. After he finished reading it he loaned it to me to read. I loved it! Gregory the main character had me cracking up at all of his antics in middle school. I am planning to read the second book, “Rodrick Rules”, once my grandson is finishing reading it. What a wonderful way to enjoy the love of reading with the next generation.
