Written Retreat

God’s plan for me to attend the “Written Retreat” did not go as I thought it would. I wrote about what “The Real Intent” was and how He raised the money for me to go in “But Of Course He Did It!” Now I can tell you how it turned out.

My replacement thoroughly enjoyed the retreat. It was meant for her to attend the in-person retreat and for me to attend the retreat alone with God. Today I finished my time alone with God.

Through prayers of others and mine God sat me down for eight straight days. The retreat was for three nights and four days. The Holy Spirit told me to attend in eight days instead because of the eight chapters in “Written: Capturing and Cultivating The Blueprint of Your Dream.”

With the book, guidebook, audio, and other materials shown in the picture, God and I set out on this journey. While we walked hand-in-hand I saw immediately why He did not want me to attend the in-person retreat. He wanted me alone for His purpose to see the dream gift He gave me when I was a little girl to be a writer more deeply. He expanded that dream to becoming an author, blogger, and public speaker. I am in the middle of this dream journey with miles to go. Yet this week has been a confirmation of where He is taking me all for His glory, on His schedule, while I pray big!
