Day 21
I was supposed to walk with a Sister-In-Christ from my church. However due to another situation she had to postponed to another day in April. God had a plan. While I was in the middle of a prayer devotional with the women in my church, the Holy Spirit told me ask Maggie to walk with me.
She and I always have the hardest time getting together because of our crazy schedules. She is the walking partner who walked miles with me to train for my first marathon in spite of the neuropathy in her feet, blacken nails that fell off because of the miles, and thin hair due to the second round of breast cancer treatment. She had cancer twice! She had more energy than I did.
Today was her off day. We jumped for joy. We walked 4.13 miles in Bedford Reservation. We saw waterfalls, an overlook, a pet cemetery, and found a trail I was unaware of that I plan to go back to with my husband or other hiking budding. We both smiled when we saw the pet cemetery. We are both cat and dog lovers. Walking on God’s schedule always works for the best.
